How We’re Responding to COVID-19

Dear Staunton Stays Guests,

Your health, welfare, and safety are of the utmost concern when you stay in one of our suites. We are monitoring the developing COVID-19 situation closely and following guidelines from our local health department and the Virginia Department of Health.

CERTIFICATION

Our immediate response to this public health crisis was to become one of the few short-term, Airbnb facilities in Staunton to be inspected and certified by the Central Shenandoah Health District (CSHD) to be in compliance with the Virginia Department of Health Sanitary Regulations for Hotels. These regulations include standards for general sanitary living conditions, pest control, linen care, bathroom cleanliness, and supplies, trash removal, and the sanitation of any kitchenware or kitchen appliances provided for guests.

ENHANCED CLEANING POLICIES

We have also implemented enhanced cleaning standards as provided by CSHD to prevent transmission of COVID-19 including:

•  Deep cleanings between every booking
• Following strict guidelines in cleaning products for highest cleaning standards
• Lobby area is equipped with two commercial-grade Dyson air purifiers, which are also used in the units between bookings
• Hand sanitizer available in the foyer

CANCELLATIONS

We are maintaining a very flexible cancellation policy to accommodate guests as best as we can, HOWEVER, we are confident that we are still able to provide a very safe, clean, and enjoyable experience at this time. Your health and well-being are our highest priority and we truly appreciate the trust that you place in us when you choose Staunton Stays.
