How to Create/Edit Article Categories to Organize Your Articles
Creating/Editing Article Categories
- Article categories help you organize your articles inside of your Knowledge Base
- To add a Category:
- When logged into stauntonstays.com, navigate to Knowledge Base > Categories
- Add a Name (ex. Guest Messaging)
- Add a Slug – there’s a note that this is the URL-friendly version of the name. It’s usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens (ex. guest-messaging)
- Add a Description (ex. This category is for articles describing how to use our different guest management platforms and how to communicate with guests)
- Choose a Category Icon
- Pick an icon that you think goes well with the category!
- When finished, click Add New Category at the bottom of the page
- To edit a Category:
- Hover over the Category on the right side of the page – click Edit
- Edit any of the information on this page
When finished, click Update at the bottom of the page
